Customer Service

The St.Cloud VA Medical Center takes pride in providing the highest quality of care and outstanding customer service to the veterans of our nation. We recognize there may be times when a patient or family member has an issue which requires our attention. Because the best time to let us know of any concern or question is at the time it happens, please use any of the following ways to resolve your problem:

Contact Staff in Every Area

No matter which service you visit when you come to the St.Cloud VA, you will always be able to find a staff member to assist you in resolving your issue. We encourage veterans and their families to speak up if they have a concern. Tell any member of our staff your concern and he or she will help you resolve it. Managers in every area of service are available to speak with you at your request.

Patient Advocates

St.Cloud VA Medical Center has four skilled patient advocates who are eager to help you with your concern in a timely manner. The Patient Advocates -

  • serve as liaisons between patients and the medical center
  • act on the patient's behalf to resolve concerns
  • help patients understand their rights and responsibilities

Our Patient Advocates are located on the first floor in Building T100. You may reach the Patient Advocate office at (320) 255-6353.

Patient Feedback Tools

We have a number of feedback tools that allow you to provide information about the care and service you receive.  Please take time to participate in and use these feedack tools. Our goal is to provide compassionate, quality care in a timely and respectful manner.

Comment Card Boxes

Your feedback about the care and services you receive at the medical center provides us an opportunity to make changes and improvements. There are Comment Card Boxes in each clinic area and in other areas around the medical center for you to express a concern, make a suggestion or tell us how we are doing.

Provider Satisfaction Survey

A few days after your clinic visit, you may receive a satisfaction survey that asks about your visit with your health care provider. Please take the time to let our providers know about your experience at your appointment.

Survey of Healthcare Experience of Patients

After your visit, you may receive a confidential questionnaire in the mail asking you about your most recent outpatient or inpatient treatment at our medical center.

Please use the survey to let us know of any concerns, complaints, or questions you have about your care, so that we can resolve them. We also appreciate compliments about what we are doing right.

Periodic Special Interest Questionnaires

Occasionally, when we are considering making changes that may improve service to veterans, we will give you a short questionnaire at your clinic visit so that we can find out how veterans feel about the change we are considering. By completing this kind of quick questionnaire, you help us improve service.

Customer Service Committee

The St.Cloud VA's Customer Service Committee is made up from staff from every service area and a veteran representative. The committee meets monthly to review customer contacts and concerns as well as the feedback tools listed above. We take customer service seriously and we welcome your contacts!
