Women Veteran Benefits and Painting Workshop in Granite Falls

October 1, 2018

A Veteran benefits fair and painting workshop, tailored for women Veterans, is scheduled for Oct. 6 at the Kilowatt Community Center, 600 Kilowatt Drive, in Granite Falls.

The benefits fair features a presentation at 1 p.m., and exhibitors including County Veteran Service Officers, St. Cloud and Sioux Falls VA Health Care Systems, Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs and the St. Paul Regional Office, Veteran Benefits Administration. Women Veterans are encouraged to discuss enrollment in VA health care and receive information on the full range of federal, state and local Veterans benefit programs.

The free painting workshop is scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m., and allows women Veterans to meet and socialize with fellow women Veterans in the area and to complete a canvas painting for breast cancer awareness.
